Klutz LEGO Chain Reactions

Description

Build and experiment with gravity-powered machines using LEGO elements, a tall chipboard tower, and six wooden balls. Start with a ball run that sends the balls through ramps, spinners, a funnel, and other obstacles before they land in buckets, then rebuild the components into challenges such as a gravity labyrinth, zip-line starter, and grabber claw. Add materials from home to invent original chain reactions while exploring gravity, motion, and the machines of Rube Goldberg.
