Our Approach
A catalog shaped by research, judgment, and independence.
Wishiary deliberately selects products for its catalog. We do not automatically publish retailer listings, and inclusion is never something a brand or seller can buy.
What we look for in a brand
Brand eligibility rests on three practical principles.
- Commercial accountability. The business presents a real, traceable identity and takes responsibility for what it sells.
- Meaningful product stewardship. The people behind a product show care for its information, consistency, and ongoing place in the market.
- Appropriate post-purchase support. Families have a reasonable way to ask questions, report concerns, and pursue help, warranty service, replacement, or resolution when appropriate.
Responsible manufacturers, established brands, independent creators, specialized makers, and thoughtful private-label curators can all qualify. Premium pricing, original inventions, domestic manufacturing, patents, and large-company status are not requirements.
Products are evaluated separately
A qualifying brand does not place every product in the catalog. Wishiary also evaluates individual products using available product information, controlled catalog standards, and the facts that help people understand what they are considering.
Catalog inclusion is not a guarantee of quality, safety, or universal suitability. Families should consider current product instructions, warnings, recipient needs, and their own judgment.
Research-based, not a claim of hands-on testing
Wishiary’s normal editorial process is research-based. Products are researched and selected using available manufacturer, creator, retailer, and other credible information. “Editorially curated” does not mean that Wishiary has purchased, physically handled, or tested every product.
Editorial decisions stay independent
Payment must neither guarantee nor influence Wishiary’s editorial decisions.
- Brands and sellers cannot purchase catalog approval.
- If paid evaluation requests are offered in the future, payment would cover the evaluation process only—not its findings, classifications, recommendations, or outcome.
- If sponsored placements are offered in the future, they would be limited to products that independently qualify for the catalog and would be clearly identified.
- Affiliate commissions do not determine editorial eligibility or recommendations.
