National Geographic Volcano Kit

Description

Cast and paint a model volcano, then use it for three eruption experiments with the included eruption powder. Add pop crystals to the eruptions for a crackling sound effect, and examine geode and pumice specimens alongside the hands-on activity. A full-color learning guide explains volcano formation, tectonic plates, earthquakes, and volcanic rocks, connecting the model eruptions to the geology behind real volcanoes.
